Hi I am Julie, owner at Eden West Salon. I have been in the industry for 15 years. After attending Auburn University, I decided I wanted to pursue my passion in the beauty industry. I received my Master Cosmetology & Master Cosmetology Educator license from Paul Mitchell the School Esani in 2006. Upon graduation I started my career at an internationally recognized salon, Jamison Shaw. While working there I received countless hours of education in the art of French haircutting and balayage. I have been a color specialist and educator for thirteen years and an extension specialist for twelve years. My belief is that at the foundation of every strong hairdresser is education. When I decided to open a salon I knew we had to establish our culture rooted in the desire to constantly be educating ourselves, team members and our guests. While in my chair, you may often see me working with a co-stylist to provide on the job education of my personalized techniques. My passion behind the chair is to make every woman feel their absolute best. I believe the first step in achieving any in salon goal is a solid consultation. Eden West went from a dream to a reality with the support and encouragement of my husband, Derek, who works behind the scenes. We have a three year old, Caelyn and love enjoying time together as a family being active in all the amazing things Charleston has to offer.
